Economy Quick Start Guide
Our economy is constantly changing every season and we are always trying to improve it and push away the idea of AFK. We've revamped the way the economy is going to be played out this season and here are some quick ways to get started.
One of the most famous ways to get started is inside the mineshaft. You can get there by typing /warp mine. All ores and drops that you receive from the mineshaft can be sold in /shop mine.
Another way to get started in farming. Creating large pumpkin, carrot, or netherward farms will be really rewarding this season!
We've completely revamped skills to scale better with the player. There will now be over 100 levels for each skill and they will all help you with your skyblock journeys. In addition, we've also added a new skill called Farmer and it will dramatically make you money!
At Slayer level 25 you will be able to access the portal in our new mine system (See Below)
Since the mineshaft will play a big role in our economy this season, we've fully resized it while keeping the same themes and elements it once had. The mineshaft should be around 100% bigger now and can fit a ton of ores, mobs, and players. We've limited the mine to three layers. Once you have reached the bottom of the mine, there will be a portal waiting for you in which only Slayer Level 25 can enter! The portal will take you to another zone which will be the best zone in the game.
NOTE mobs inside the mineshaft will scale in strength and power. You will no longer be able to run down the mineshaft at your protection 5 gear. We have added special gear for the mineshaft that can be obtained in /armor (See below)
To advance in the mineshaft you will need to farm the first layer in the mineshaft and purchase armor to advance and become stronger. You will get really strong to the point where you can one tap some of the mobs.
In each zone there will be powerful bosses that spawn twice a day and give the best loot in the game. Be careful because they are not like other bosses, these bosses are extremely strong and require a lot of good armor before you can fight them off.
You may already know about gem armor from Prison but we are also introducing it to skyblock because of its massive success. We've added the same system but with a skyblock twist to it. You will be able to obtain gems from killing mobs in the mineshaft, spawner mobs, and farming. There will be multiple different armor abilities that you can choose from.
We've added two brand new pets to better help the economy, both of them are farming pets that either double or triple the number of crops you receive from farming!
Island Top Revamp
Each season we had, after the first week you would already know who won for the rest of the seasons. This season we're introducing a brand new system that will allow multiple new winners every week. You will no longer gain value from placing spawners but you will gain value from killing spawner mobs, killing mineshaft mobs, mining mineshaft ores, and breaking crops on your island!
Each week the top island leaderboard resets so you have to grind more!
We've changed spawner upgrades and made them upgradeable through experience instead of money. We want to encourage more grinding to make the economy less AFK. We've also changed the spawners to the previous season spawners with ghasts because it was more preferred. Likewise, we lowered the sell prices of all spawners.
We've renamed mob coins to coins so that way we can add more ways to obtain them. One new way of obtaining them would be farming crops.
